About Zigo Technologies: Edward Zigo founded Zigo Technologies 16 years ago in Phoenix AZ in 1995. Zigo Technologies is a small family owned and operated removable dental laboratory.
After graduation at University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry, Ed made it his goal to travel in order to accrue more knowledge in his field from all geographical aspects, from big labs, to small labs. Ed said “They all have made a tremendous impression and impact in what I apply to my own business today!” Ed wanted to know every possible quirk, different philosophies, material implications, etc, etc. Without a doubt, after 30 years, Ed has been able to bring together a very rich array of technical assets that can be used for application in every appliance that is available to dentistry today. This, along with the continuing advancement in technology, has placed Zigo Technologies' services into high demand for dentists seeking their type of expertise. Ed’s thorough knowledge of so many appliances allows the technicians at Zigo Technologies to give dentists as many as four to six possible applications for just one suggested treatment which offers a distinct advantage for dental practices.
Zigo Technologies has evolved today into a Patient, Dentist and laboratory cooperation so all concerns, ideas, concepts and applications are reviewed to find the best scenario for the patient.

what they are actually fabricated, and whether or not these materials are safe, led Ed to implement the design of all of Zigo Technologies’ projects with the purist, nontoxic, completely biocompatible materials available in modern dentistry today. Most of these materials come from The Flexite Company, based in New York. Ed said “I am very much privileged to be associated with this company for over 25 years.” Ed Zigo is their top technical designer/teacher out of 4000 such certified technicians in the world. “They and I actually do feel we are a part of the same entity, as they have mentored me with their processes while I shared with them my experiences, vision, and idea's to enhance some of the products applications” comments Ed.
The products Zigo Technologies creates from their materials are "Flexite Partials" a product made of a "nylon type material" which blends into dentition with clasping (hooks), as not to show, as with a metal framework. Unlike competitors whose partials can sink into the tissue and cause pain and nerve damage, Zigo Technologies partials include tissue-colored rests that inhibit movement. Dentures can be made completely biocompatible and unbreakable. TMJ, Bruxism, sleep-apnea and any orthodontic appliance are also biocompatible, plus they stay crystal clear for their longevity because they do not absorb odors or bacteria. All of these materials have been thoroughly tested and certified by the prestigious Clifford Institute of Toxicity Testing, Colorado Springs, Co. as 99.9% safe and biocompatible for all human mucosa. Along with these impressive results, Flexite Co. has also received the recommendation of Dr. Emanuel Horowitz, of the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, as being completely pure with zero signs of leaching under intense and adverse conditions. Their products have paved the way for the Ed and Zigo Technologies to turn away the toxic materials that have taken hold on and damaged humans in this industry. Ed suggests “We can change Dentistry through public and professional awareness; just a few are now realizing this. The potential, I feel, is the beginning of what will be the standard years from now."
